The Bresser Messier Newtonian telescopes have established themselves as reliable workhorses for astrophotography in recent years. With the new Messier NT-203s/800 with Hexafoc, we can now present a new generation of these devices. With their fast focal ratio of 203mm (8″) f/3.9, the Photo Newtonians with parabolic primary mirror allow deeper images with the same exposure time. The large 85 mm secondary mirror ensures optimum illumination of the image field. The high-quality 2.5″ Hexafoc focuser ensures problem- and vignetting-free photography, tube clamps with 44mm universal dovetail bar and carrying handle with mounting option for a camera as well as an excellent bright viewfinder with crosshairs round off the picture of these high-quality devices.

Mount, tripod & handbox with computer.
This German mount is equipped with tracking motors in both axes, which can accurately track and position astronomical objects. The handbox with GoTo function controls the mount precisely and reliably. Precision gears in both axles allow operation with a minimum of gear backlash at all of the nine possible speeds. The battery pack (12 V) is conveniently attached to the storage table and holds 8 “D” size batteries. The mount comes with a solid tubular steel tripod with high stability and can be loaded with optical tubes weighing up to 13 kg. The GoTo control system makes sky observation easy at the touch of a button!

With the Bresser Startracker GoTo system, even beginners will be able to observe celestial objects in just a few minutes that would have been difficult or impossible to find without GoTo! At the touch of a button, the GoTo system searches for planets, nebulae or galaxies for you and positions your telescope fully automatically. The GoTo System database contains over 100,000 celestial objects for you. Observe celestial objects with an optic from the Messier series with GoTo system without a long search, or photograph faint objects that you cannot reach with conventional search methods!
Please note that reflector telescopes of the “Newtonian” type are very good for astronomical observations of the starry sky, but are not well suited for nature and landscape observations during the day. We therefore recommend spotting scopes or refracting telescopes for nature and landscape observations.
